School Resumption: "FG" Allows Only Federal Schools To Resume While Others Remain Closed...

 


During the PTF instructions in Abuja yesterday being seventeenth September 2020. It was announced that Federal Institutions can continue if just they get authorization from the National Universities Commission (NUC). 



This announcement comes 14 days after the task force has proclaimed that schools can continue on Thursday September third, 2020. 



 

Nonetheless, the presidential task force(PTF) expressed that State Government can guide chance examination to allow all schools in there particular state to return, Through after the measures to reduce the spread of the infection and guarantee there are techniques on ground to screen and control the circumstances before resuming schools. 



Meanwhile, some State Governors have reported dates for returning of schools e.g (Lagos, Ogun, Osun, Borno, Anambra, Ebonyi, Ondo, Delta, Kogi, Oyo state respectively). Note their announcement just applies to state asserted establishments as it were. 


However, with this proclamation by the presidential team (PTF), each and every Federal Institution (Universities, Polytechnics, Colleges of Education) would now have the option to resume and student can resume to their studies, while different states schools stay Closed till 2021.
