EPISODE 3
After concluding on the plans of making a blood covenant with patience, I began to think of the possible way to go about it. I was still in my room thinking on how to go about making a blood covenant with her, but I was afraid to tell her about it, I did not really know how to tell her my fear was ‘’what if she says no’’. Well, another spirit ministered to me and instructed me to go ahead with my plans. This was another trouble, each time I try telling her my heart will not permit.
For over two weeks, I was battling with how to tell her my plans. So one day, Tuesday evening precisely, we do come back to school every Tuesday at 4 pm in the evening for sport and games.
I strengthened the gust in me and encouraged myself
‘’I must tell her about it and if she truly loves me she will agree with me about the covenant’'
The main reason I wanted to make a blood covenant with patience was that I was afraid I may lose her to another guy more handsome than myself and also I just don’t like the way my classmates and school mates entirely behaves with ladies most especially the beautiful ones, each time I see them with Patience I felt disgusted and jealous I don’t like it when the boys come around Patience it makes me feel as though they wanted to take her away from me, so I just wanted to do everything I could to keep her to myself and taking a blood covenant with her became the best option I could think of.
On that fateful Tuesday evening, after getting to school and encouraging myself to carry out my plans, I immediately rushed to one nearby shop and bought a razor blade and a white handkerchief. My heart was fully convinced that that was the best thing I should do to keep her, I never thought of any negative effect because I was strong in the heart and I knew that I must keep the covenant until we get married, I was so convinced that my love for patience would last until marriage and even beyond.
After buying the razor blade and handkerchief, I called her that we needed to talk, I held her by the hand and took her to a quiet place where nobody was seeing us, It was under a tree in a nearby forest. There was no noise, it was calm and the gentle breeze streamed into our soul.
On reaching there, patience was putting on her usual sportswear, a pink Jordan Bryan armless jersey and a red Liverpool short, she does play basketball that was her preferred sport. At first, on reaching there I was carried away by her body, I could see through from her arm her breast it was like wow! Tender and succulent, immediately a voice spoke to me...
‘’oh! Kelvin, you just can’t afford to lose this girl, she is too precious to be let go, don’t dull yourself’'
For about three minutes or so I was just staring at her without saying a word. Patience moved closer to me, she knew I wanted something, taking her alone to the bush indicates I needed something but she thought I wanted sex. She held my hands and kissed me then said...
‘’ my beloved, you know we can’t do it here okay, let's do it somewhere safer and comfortable okay!’’
No patience, I don’t want sex, of course, I know it's not safe here I told you I wanted to talk to you about something very important, I said
Okay! What is it my dear she asked?
I cleared the ground and asked her to sit close to me. We both sat down and began to gist and playing with each other. I don’t want to rush her I wanted her settled before I open up.
After a while, noticing she was settled and loving what we were doing, I told her to be serious and calm that I wanted to tell her the exact reason I brought her there, she did. I started by telling her love stories, riddles, and Proverbs. I penetrated into her heart making sure I wasn’t talking to her but speaking directly into her heart so she could find no reason to refuse the blood covenant.
I went on to ask her if she truly loved me she replied yes, I told her to prove that she loves me, she kissed me and said that was her prove that she loves me.
I behaved as not to be convinced then said to her…
‘’see Patience kissing alone can not prove that you truly love me, even your enemy can pretend to love you and kiss you, moreover it was with a kiss Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus ’’.
After saying that, Patience burst into tears, she began to cry and with a shaking voice she asked me
‘’ What do you want me to do to prove to you that I truly love you???’’
My heart became broken also then I joined her in weeping but after a while, I encouraged myself, I cleaned my tears and help her clean hers too. Then right away I brought out the razor blade and the white handkerchief and said to her, This razor in my hand represents blood and the white handkerchief represents true love. I will injure myself with the razor blade and blood will come out of my hand and all you need to do is to lick it, and you will injure yourself with the razor blade also and when blood comes out I will lick it. This means that we will love each other until death and nothing shall separate us.
After telling her this, Patience became afraid and said no she can’t do it, then I told her…
That means you don’t love me, it means that you cannot stand by me forever
It means that you are not my love and you are not my wife to be,
it means that I can never love any woman again in my life,
it means you want me mad, it means you want me dead,
It means you were freaking me all this while, it means all this while
You were playing pranks on me, it means you have someone else already.
If I had known I wouldn’t have fallen in love, I wouldn’t have given my heart to someone who doesn’t love and care about me, and now here I am, I can’t love again, my heart and soul have been flicked off into the air and now I am empty.
Just immediately I finished speaking, Patience burst into tears again, she placed her head on my chest and began to cry bitterly. I raised her up told her the covenant was for our own good, I brought out the razor blade and gave it to her and asked her to use it on her hand if truly she loves me. She collected it and injured her hands with tears flowing heavily from her eyes, seeing that she has done that, I began to weep also. I licked her blood and collected the razor blade and injure my hand and she licked it. But before licking our blood, we took an oath never to cheat on each other, never to have sex with anyone else, never to separate and to love our self until death and anyone that breaks the oath should die, then used the handkerchief to seal off the wounds…
