ASUU NEC Meeting ended in dispute as the house got divided over strike actions

  The Academic staff union of university national executive committee meeting ended in dispute today has the house got divided over strike actions. The union executives held a meeting on Saturday to decide on the next step as regards the inability of the FG to meet up with their demands.  ASUU had previously given the federal government ultimatum to the end of August to meet up with their demands, but as of yesterday Friday, 3rd September, the union said FG is yet to respond to their request which made them (ASUU) call a NEC meeting but unfortunately, there was a divided house as some accepted the union go on strike while some kicked against it...
