EPISODE 9
When I got to my room, I was breathing like one who just ran a 1500mitres race, it was about 9:30pm and Kovac my room mate had not come back from where he went to charge his phone. I was still breathing like an escape goat then Florence walked into my room with great wrought and anger and said to me
‘’Count yourself dead, you fool and coward. For the second time now you have disgraced me, am going to show you hell’’.
After saying that she walked out of my room.
I knew I was dead, I knew my life was gone. There was nothing I would ever do to make Florence forgive me ever again. I messed up the first time and now after giving me a condition to leave I fumbled. I did not bother apologizing because I knew she was never going to accept. What I did was to hide myself from her, any time I wanted to go out I ensured she was not outside and when coming in I also watch properly well that she was not around before entering the compound.
I reported everything to my friend Joshua, I told him about my plans to join a cult group so I can be bold and strong to fight back against Florence and THE NIPPLES LADDIES. He encouraged me not do such, stating the implications it would cause me there after. He insisted I should pack out from the lodge but I told him I had no money to rent another apartment and moreover our rent has not yet expired. He thought for a while and then assured me he was going to talk to his room mate for me to join them in his lodge until my parents send money for me to rent another apartment. I was very happy and hoping his room mate agrees.
The next day Joshua called me that he had talk to his room mate and he accepted I come over so any time I am ready I should pack in. I did not waste time, I told him I will be packing in that night. After hanging up the call, I hurriedly arranged my things into my bag waiting for night to cover before leaving so that no one would know i was packing out. It was Friday and as usual both Kovac and Florence had gone for their respective night clubs. It gave me free chance to pack up everything . when it was dark, I moved out of the lodge to Joshua’s placing. I dropped a written note on the table for kovac when he comes back notifying him that I have packed out of the lodge. I did not indicate where I was packing out to so that incase Florence ask about me she would not know where to trace me to.
When I packed to Joshua’s place, at least for a while I had breathing space and felt as though i was totally free from the hands of Florence and her so called cult members. One day, about a week or so I packed out of my former lodge, my phone rang, it was Vivian she apologized for what happened the last time I went to her place. She pleaded I should come over to her place that her birthday was going to be in three days time and that she wanted me to be present at the party and that she also wanted us to talk. I refused and told her I wasn’t coming but she pleaded and pleaded, I hanged up the call but she kept calling, I refused picking her calls so she began to send me text messages apologizing and pleading that I should forgive her.
After so many missed calls and text messages she sent to me, my heart was melted so I decided to accept her invitations. I called her that I was going to come and she was very happy. On the day Vivian said was her birthday, I took my bath and went to her house to celebrate with her. Out of my hard earned money I bought a wristwatch worth of three thousand naira (#3000), wrapped it very well and took it along to her house as birthday gift. When I got to her place, I knocked on the door she delayed opening and after a while she opened with a towel tied around her chest, she said she was in the bathroom when I was knocking. I entered and sat down and after the birthday wishes I brought out the gift I had for her. She collected it and kept on the table and said that day wasn’t her birthday and that she was sorry, she said she used that to make me come to her house. I was very angry with her for playing pranks on me and also within me thinking how I wasted my money to get her a gift. She knelt down and started pleading that she was very sorry about what happened the last time I came to her place. I told her it was okay and that she should stand up. She stood up and came closer to me and said she wanted to be my girl friend and that the very first day she set her eyes on me she loved me. I told her I already have a girlfriend but she insisted she was ready to be my side chick and to share me with whosoever the girl may be.
Vivian was no doubt beautiful and attracting but not in this case, she won’t understand why I didn’t want it, it’s a matter of life and death. She kept pressing me that I should say yes. I wanted to tell her why her request won’t work but I decided not to. Little did I know that Vivian was having another mission. I was still contemplating within myself whether to open up to her the reason while I can’t agree to her proposal or not, ops! What I saw was that she was already naked, she loosened the towel she was tying about her chest and behold she was completely naked. She began to plead with me to have sex with her but before I could say n….o!! She started seducing me making some sexy moves and moving her hands allover my body. I was lost and don’t know what to do, I was already wet and falling. She came more closer to me and sat on my laps with her breast directly into my mouth. I tried to resist her but hae! I could not, my hand began gradually on its own to move over her booms, I could feel her in my soul, my heart was no longer bearing a remembrance of the covenant I took with Patience. She indeed captured my soul and this time there was no iota of resistance in me. As we were about to fall to the bed, then a knock was heard on the door. She hurriedly stood up, pickup her towel and tied while I tightened my belt. She moved to the door and opened behold it was THE NIPPLE LADIES. Vivian tricked me. THE NIPPLES LADIES, the last time I came out of Vivian’s house one of the ladies saw me and reported to her fellow member. They confronted Vivian and threatened her, they thought we were dating and that she was my girlfriend but Vivian told them how we met and how she posed naked in front of me and wanted to have sex with me but surprisingly for her I ran out. THE NIPPLES LADIES were surprised hearing that I did the same thing with Vivian exactly what I did to one of their member Florence. They doubted if I have a working man hood so they consented to prove it and Vivian was given the part to make sure she bring me to her house and try as much as possible to keep me until they come and while we were discussing Vivian sent a text message to them that I was around.
But behold, a man I was and with God ever near to guide me, before the nipples ladies could walk into the room from the door, the window was opened and had no protector. I hurriedly or perhaps like vandan or maybe Jetli or was it Jackie Chan, I flew through the window landing with my hands and before they could get hold of me I escaped running with my legs touching my back.
Oh my goodness! Life in the university indeed was not easy, full of ups and downs, threat and torment, stress and troubles. Little did I ever know the dangers in making a blood covenant with a lady. I was too young to understand what the statement ‘’what would be would be if only it was meant to be’' meant. I was carried away by what I called love and now a flick follows, a sudden blow off, a sudden take off, a short, quick movement, a cut that lands with the point, often involving a whip of the foible of the blade that struck at concealed target, placed on a two edges sword, subjected to humiliations, an object of shame and mockery, found in a state of been hungry but could not eat, tasty but could not drink, presented with gold but could not mine. All these taking a blood covenant caused me..
